Consistent with organizational values, Home Doctor established a Code of Ethics with the objective of promoting an upright corporate environment, supporting actions aimed at compliance with laws and regulations applicable to its internal activities and policies. To ensure compliance with this Code of Ethics, an internal risk management unit was formed, comprising managers from the highest levels of the structure of corporate governance.
This unit provides a communication channel directed to the internal and external audiences, and regularly develops guiding actions to encourage compliance with its guidelines through communication campaigns and permanent education programs. It must perform periodic risk mapping, update internal policies, procedures and controls, and provide the most adequate and fair answer to the infractions and deviant behaviors detected.
The Safe Channel is the main means of communication of deviation from the guidelines of the Code of Ethics. The events that should be reported using the Safe Channel include not only infractions to the guidelines of the Code of Ethics, but also legal infractions, fraud, sexual and moral harassment, theft, corruption, bribery, conflict of interests, information security, misrepresentation, illegal practice, among others. All violation reports will be investigated by the Risk Management Unit, which will issue, in case a transgression is identified, a decision report containing description of the facts, analyses performed with respective evidence, conclusions, recommendations and action plans. These recommendations or action plans may determine a revision and a possible change in processes, as well as enforce educational or disciplinary measures.
Note: complaints of service quality from the external audience should be reported to the Customer Service. This channel should only be used to report situations potentially characterized as ethical deviation or violation to laws, regulations and internal policies of the Home Doctor Group. If you need additional information or has any questions, please contact the Risk Management Unit through the email: email@example.com.
